I'm Kaname. From Japan, I hunt down vintage Seiko, Citizen, Orient and other Japanese timepieces in their home market — the place where the finest examples have quietly survived — inspect each one by hand, and ship it to collectors worldwide.

For years, enthusiasts abroad relied on a handful of trusted Japanese dealers to reach these watches. As several of them have stepped back, good vintage Japanese pieces have become harder than ever to reach from overseas. I exist to keep that door open: one person in Japan, choosing and checking each watch by hand.

• Authenticated by third-party experts. Every item passes professional third-party authentication before it is offered for sale — see our Authenticity Guarantee.
• Every flaw, disclosed first. Scratches, patina, wear, service history — I tell you the bad before you ask, and show it in detailed photos. No surprises.
• Replaced parts, named. I favour original, unmodified pieces, and when a part is aftermarket or has been serviced, I say so plainly.
• Where it came from. I tell you where I found it and what, if anything, was done to it.
• Actually timed. Every watch is wound and timed before it is listed. I note how it runs — honestly.
• Responsible to your door. Fast dispatch via FedEx or DHL, fully tracked and insured, carefully packed to arrive safely anywhere in the world.
